When I tell you that I am a Christian,
I am not yelling that I am found
I am whispering that I was lost
When I tell you that I am born again,
I am not saying that I am perfect,
I am letting you know that I know perfection,
And he has found me worthy of his grace
When I tell you that I am a Christian,
I am not condemning your religion,
I am only saying that I have Christ
And for me, he is the only way to heaven
When I tell you that I am a born again,
I am not saying that I have all the answers,
I am only humbly searching for the truth.
When I tell you that I am a Christian,
I am not saying that I am in the place I ought to be,
I am only letting you know that I am not in the place I used to be
And his saving grace has directed me to the path that I need to follow
When I tell you that I am born again,
I am in no way judging you,
I am only telling you that we will all be judged someday
When I tell you that I am a born again Christian,
I AM telling you that I am a new creation,
The old has gone, and the new has come
I AM telling you that I have the redemption through blood and
The forgiveness of sins,
In accordance with the riches of God’s grace.
I AM telling you that I have been made alive with Christ
Even when I was dead in transgression
Most of all,
I AM telling you that you can enjoy all of this blessings too
If you only confess your sins and accept Christ Jesus as your
Personal Lord and Saviour.
I AM telling you that he died for our sins
I AM telling you that God made him who had no sin
To be sin for us,
So that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
I am telling you that all you have to say is
I AM SORRY; I BELIEVE; AND I ACCEPT!!!
