You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. ~Matthew 24:6
I’m sure we have all heard the talks of war being inevitable. To be honest, when I first heard of it, I was scared because I don’t know what to expect, Sept. 11th was enough to deal with. We have however been reassured in the verse above that this has to happen so we cannot be alarmed. The godly thing to do in this situation is to keep fighting the good fight. This is the time when we have to be steadfast and try to live as righteous as possible. God has not given us the spirit of timidity, so any such spirit is not of God and we have to rebuke that from our lives.
This is the time for us to go out into the world and win souls for the kingdom of God. If you haven’t always been an active Christian, this is the time for you to get activated. We are being called into a war of our own, and we have to go out and fight for souls. The devil is using this as an opportunity to pollute people’s minds, “Why would God allow such a thing to happen?” “If he is so great, why can’t he stop all of these from happening? Let’s show these people how great God really is!!! Let’s shout in from the mountaintops. We are being called to duty, so let’s put on our full armor and do this.
I pray that God continues to protect us and give us the wisdom and strength to accomplish what we are being called to do.
