|I have heard many Christians complain that God has turned a deaf ear to them, and they don’t know what his will is for their lives. Many Christians because of this have taken matters into their own hands and followed their wills and gotten into a lot of trouble in the process. God does not hide his guidance from believers; He shares it with those people who patiently wait to hear from him.
You may ask, “So how are we suppose to know what God’s will is if we can’t hear from him?” I am here to tell you today that if you truly do serve and worship God like you ought to, he will definitely reveal it to you. The problem with many of us however is that we are not patient enough to wait for God to speak to us. We expect to get what we want when we want it, but God doesn’t work that way. He has your entire life carefully mapped out and he unveils his plans one step at a time to protect you and keep you totally dependent on him.
It is important for you as a believer to always exercise patience in your walk with Christ. The biggest will of God for your life is for you to not make a move until your hear from him. God has created a time schedule for your life, and he will reveal all things to you at the perfect time. Everything about God is perfect, and if you allow him, he will make your life perfect as well (maybe not as the world defines perfect, but perfect in God’s eyes). Patience is the key to the will of God. If you want to know the will of God, get to know him, and he will reveal all to you in due time and also teach you how to fulfill that which is his good and perfect will.
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen –Hebrews 13:20-21
Stay blessed and spread the word.
