Have you ever taken a few minutes to reflect on what God has done in your life? Have you ever decided that during your prayers, instead of asking, you would just remember and be thankful? David mastered this art at a very young age. Before he asked for anything, he always thanked God for everything he had done before. Before he went into any battles, he reflected back on what God had done even before his time. The book of Psalms is filled with the words of a grateful man that took the time to learn and know about the God that he loved above all else. David found the key to the heart of God, and he used it to unlock the floodgates of heaven over himself and his family.
Bless God for all he has done, bless him for his Son. Bless him. He has been our joy and our strength. He has wiped away many tears and restored many broken hearts. He continuously delivers us from ourselves and our transgressions. He continuously blesses us with the desires of our hearts. He gives us the strength to stand every time situations try to push us down. He has blessed us with wonderful friends, spouses and amazing children, great jobs, daily meals, roofs over our heads, clothing over our nakedness, and so much more. What can we give him to show our gratitude? What can we possible give God in return?

Dear Lord, words cannot begin to express the depth of my love and appreciation for all you have done and continue to do for me. I am what I am today because of you. Your love has rescued me from death! I have all that I have today because of you. I stand in complete awe of your majesty. You are so worthy of my praise. I lift your name on high. God all I have, all my dreams, all my plans, all my desires, and all I am, I give to you! I am totally devoted to you! Be glorified in me today and forevermore! Thank you!
