|The highway of the upright avoids all evil; he who guards his way guards his life. –Proverbs 16:17|
This verse is very self-explanatory; guard your way and you will guard your life. The Bible says that we are tempted when we are dragged away and enticed by our evil desires. When we are upright, we can deal with those desires before they take root in our hearts. Let us not wait until we have fallen to make amends! Let us avoid potholes of sin so that we would not have to make amends. We know situations that may cause us to fall before we enter into them, and it is up to us to either leave immediately or stay there and sin.
Avoid all evil, guard your steps, and leave the rest up to God. Leave it up to him to guard your life.
Stay blessed and spread the word.
