|A friend of mine was talking to me about a sermon she just heard. The sermon was about complacency, and she went into a little bit of detail about it. As she was explaining this sermon to me, all I could think about was how complacent I had become. |
Many times, active Christians usually get to a point where they feel that they are doing enough, but that should never be the case. Your whole life should be a constant growth process, and if you ever start to become stagnant then there is a problem. Complacency is one of the devil’s strongest weapons against Christians and you have to be extremely careful about that spirit. The devil is never complacent, and neither should you.
Have you ever been complacent? Are you dealing with it right now? If so turn to God. There is always kingdom work to be done, and whenever your hands get idle, find something else to do, find a new way to grow, find a different way to grow the kingdom.
