"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"... Romans 3:22. According to this scripture, it is clear that no man is without sin. And no sinner the Lord says would enter the kingdom of heaven. So the question is what is needed to be part of the chosen people of Christ? Plain and simple, one has to be born again. Born again not of the flesh, but through water and the holy spirit. "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he his born of water and the spirit"... John 3:5. By being born again, one has to leave his old ways and anchor all his trust in the Lord. "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone and the new has come!"... 2 Corinthians 5:17
There is a constant misconception amongst people. Most non-believers think having Christ in their lives means total deprivation. Simply saying, their is no fun with Christ. But I tell you there is no better fun than Christ. True, the moment you accept Christ in your life, you have to leave your old ways and adopt the ways of the Lord. For example, if you love going to clubs like I (Tosin) did, you have to put an end to it. And if you are a "player" like I was, then change your ways and become a player for the Lord. Play in the game of eternal life, and I promise you your reward would be great on earth and in heaven.
The devil is on a mission, he knows he's going to hell because he has been sentenced by God, so all he's trying to do is get as many disciples that would perish with him. "The devil has only come to steal, kill and destroy, I(Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full"... John 10:10.
Welcome to the kingdom of God my fellow brothers/sisters in Christ. I(Yetunde) said a sinners prayer a few years ago. I was a senior in a boarding high school for girls. Before that day, I had always known there was a hole in my heart that had to be filled. One of the graduate's of my school came to visit and decided to give a testimony. She was a born-again Christian, but unfortunately back slided after she graduated. But because of God's mercy and love for his people he forgave her and gave her another chance. On that day, she called on everybody listening to give their lives to Christ, I and a few other friends, went forward and we were prayed for. That day, I opened my heart to Christ and my life hasn't been the same ever since. Today, Tosin and I plead with you to give your lifes to Christ, he is the only way out. With him, everything is possible, but without him, nothing is.
Father Lord in heaven, we acknowledge that we are sinners, we have sinned against you in our thoughts, words and deeds. We ask you to please forgive us all our sins. We also ask you to come into our lives, as our Lord and savior. We want you to direct us from now on. We thank you for answering our prayers. In Jesus's name we pray. Amen.
